Jennifer Tilly's birth took place on the streets of Los Angeles, California on September 16th 1958. The conditions were deplorable. Her mother, who was a failing teacher and actor, was a salesperson for cars while her dad was an automobile salesman. Jennifer, the second of four kids in her family, frequently attended her mother for her performances at the theater, and was much impressed by her. After Jennifer was just five years old the divorce of her parents took place. Jennifer lived the majority of her youth in British Columbia, after her mother and father moved to the province with their four children. Jennifer never was a studious person, even though she was an artist in her youth. When she was a kid Jennifer was frequently being the target of bullies in schools across Canada. As her love for theatre diminished, she started acting in plays in support of her mother. Her mother encouraged her entire family to get involved in the art of making. After that, she immediately began to act.
